Frequently Asked Questions

General Questions

Do you see patients in person?

Right now, patients will be seen via telehealth.  A phone call or video call is all it takes.

Do you take insurance?

No, not for my services, but you can use your insurance for your prescriptions and tests ordered.

Why don’t you take insurance?

Because insurance companies dictate how you are treated.  I think your care should be decided between you and your provider.

How much does it cost for a visit?

$40 for an acute visit.

How do I schedule an appointment?

The easiest way is to visit www.healthcareyourwayal.com and click on the schedule appointment tab.

What makes you different from a provider with an office?

My clinic is open after office hours.  No need to miss work or leave home for your appointment.  There is a set fee.  No surprise bills.  No long waits or sitting in waiting rooms.  You get personalized, private care.  No need for transportation.

How can I pay for my appointment?

Payment must be made when scheduling or at the time of appointment if it is an immediate need.  We take debit and credit cards only.

What happens if I don’t show up for the appointment I scheduled?

If appointment is cancelled 24 hours before scheduled appointment a full refund will be given.  If not, there will be no refund.

What are your hours?

We have scheduled hours Wednesday and Thursday from 5pm to 8pm and Saturday from 9am to 12pm.  You may call if you need an appointment outside of those hours and if available you can be seen.

What if I need labwork?

The orders will be sent to our app on your phone for you to take wherever you choose.

Do I need an appointment for a medication refill?

What do I need to do to get a medication refilled?

Where will my prescriptions be sent?

To your pharmacy of choice.

What if I’m having new symptoms about my condition?
